WE RAISED NEARLY 70K…

The SEMA Silent Auction once again raised the bar for dollars raised for the  SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund.  The Silent Auction, organized by the SEMA Young Executive’s Network, raised nearly $70,000 in 2007.  In addition to the money raised at the SEMA Show Silent auction, the PWA (Performance Warehouse Association) Silent Auction, also organized by YEN, chipped in an additional $6,000 to the Scholarship Fund.  All-in-all, the efforts in 2007 were able raise nearly $75,000, which is the largest sum of money the YEN group has ever raised in a calendar year.

Items auctioned off included: a customized 2007 Toyota Tundra that sold for an amazing $46,900, tickets to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Cirque du Soleil tickets, an autographed Sammy Hagar guitar, Bob Bondurant driving school tickets, sheetmetal from GraveDigger and more…

We think that everyone who participated by either donating an item or by bidding on an item should give themselves a big round of applause…. THANKS EVERYONE!!!
